Sikkim – Darjeeling
Sikkim is a small state in India with the lowest population in the country. The state is surrounded by different countries. Nepal on the left, China on the north and Bhutan on the right. To the south is West Bengal. This state is rich in various traditions, people and culture.
Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world, is located on the border of Sikkim and Nepal. Kanchenjunga is a Tibetan word meaning “five snow-capped peaks”. Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim. The residents of Tikad belong to Nepali, Lepchi and Bhutia tribes.
Namachi Chardham
The reason why Namchi is important for pilgrimage and tourism is because of the Chardham established there. A 33 meter high statue of Lord Shiva has been erected here and it has become an attraction. “Prati Chardham” is built on the Solofok Hills at Namchi. Similarly, replicas of 12 Jyotirlingas have also been made here.

Tiger Hills is located at an altitude of 2590 meters in Darjeeling. Tourists go everywhere to watch the sunset but Tiger Hills is a place where tourists flock to watch the sunrise.
Ghoom Math
A very beautiful statue of Maitreya Buddha can be seen here. The same can be said of Buddhist writings.

Tenzing Rock
Tenzing Rock is named after Tenzing Norgay, a Sherpa who first climbed Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953.
